Suggestions for what sort of things should be included, or completely written sections are very welcome.
This can be done either by emailing your ideas direct to the current FAQ maintainer, or by posting them on the uk.d-i-y newsgroup. The latter is preferable because a uk.d-i-y newsgroup posting on FAQ matters usually generates a lot of input from others who have something to contribute, but have not thought of sending it in. If you do post a FAQ suggestion to the newsgroup, please email a copy to the FAQ Maintainer.
Make sure that any email or newsgroup posting contains a concise subject line, and contains the word "FAQ", otherwise my spam filter and newsreader may not pick it up.
The FAQ relies on contributions so please do consider if you can help it to grow by contributing something on for the missing section.
The uk.d-i-y newsgroup has become a very high capacity group over the last couple of years, and many questions arise repeatedly. If you notice repeated questions that you have an interest in, perhaps you would consider consolidating the answers into a section that could be added to this FAQ site. Just suggesting a structure (i.e. contents list) for the answers may spur someone else into actually filling in some or all of the details.
A typical case where someone had a suggestion for a FAQ answer, and which gathered many suggestions from the DIY community can be seen in this Google uk.d-i-y archive.
